3 Pieces Of Colored Glass

1. Teal pitcher, measures 9" tall and is 6 1/4" wide.

2. Orange compote, measures 6 1/4" tall and is 6 1/2" wide.

3. Red gourd vase, peobably newer, measures 9 1/4" tall and is 4" wide.

Thanks for all the replies. I was leaning toward Mid 20th century on the pitcher, maybe Scandinavian.

The compote could be any of the ones mentioned, have not been able to match a definite to any maker. The red one could be 1970's but I am still thinking more modern and Asian.

 

I believe the compote is Indiana Glass, not Fenton.

I agree with the Mid 20th Century assessment on the pitcher. I think it could be Italian rather then Scandinavian.

 

Never heard of Ivima. Only info I found is that they are a Portuguese company. Were you able to find anything on the company? Current company? Out of business?

The amberina compote sure looks like Vikings Yester-Year line shape #1915

I think the compote has perplexed for years. My first thought was Viking as well, but I IIRC it's been noted that Yesteryear line the knob in the middle of the stem is shaped differently, when the stem has a knob.

What I got out of it for IVIMA is:
"In 1998 Atlantis invested strongly in their factories . . . At the end of this same year the company bought IVIMA, a famous old company best known
for its colored glass items."

Still can't find anything on their history.

 

I am looking at Dean Six's book with the catalog reproductions which are small and not the best angle. I also have a photocopy of a similar ad but better angles unfortunately I did not note the source. The knob looks a little slimmer in Six but is spot on for the photocopy. I wish I could see the foot better in my pictures.
