It is a small church candlestick, found mostly in Roman Catholic churches. Most were much bigger.
Baroque/Rococo style, but they were also made after the Baroque and Rococo periods. It could have been made anywhere in Europe, we had them in The Netherlands as well. Ours were polished every week, so they looked much more clean and shiny.

    Pleasure, Iouri.
But I also said the following:
So it could have been made in the 19th century. Right now it is difficult to see through all the dirt.

    Hi,
I posted a reply to this in the wrong posting. On the church I was restoring we had seven candles stands on top of a wrought iron fence in the church with those "pikes". I went to order candles for them and found out how expensive they were. I ended up trying to make candles using empty rolled oats boxes. i t was almost as expensive of buying them. I found large candles cheap and drilled them out so they would fit.

JMHO. although the style was often sold as "monastery" especially in Spain - here I have my doubts. should be looked at by a specialist who recognizes if the outside wasn't aged with a diluted acidic solution to look old. also the fixation in the bottom doesn't look consistent with old age.

I agree, it should be looked at. It is very dirty, and it is difficult to see whether the dirt is natural or applied. Which also means it is impossible to tell the age of the metal under all those layers.
There does seem to be natural wear to the feet.

Is there a German mark, or do you have a provenance (history of where it was before, who owned it)?
