    From an estate in Ohio, sorry the pics aren’t the best.Any idea about age or origin?

    These look like city rugs (Tehran), very fine and precise work. One of them I would say is a Kerman. The animal rug could be silk?
    These would have been VERY expensive carpets and could be worth a considerable amount of money. Do not put them in the yard sale!

    yes it does look like silk in the photo.....and a good silk that big....could be worth thousands......like many !!!!!

    Quick and dirty method ...take a REALLY REALLY small amount of unobtrusive fluff/strands from the rug and burn it with a bic lighter. :eek: Do the same with the wool rug. If the two smell the same it isn't silk.;)
