My guess is this is newer but any ideas on the origin and/or maker? Would you call this cased satin glass? Would you call the leaves on the outside applied or molded? Approx 6" What are some keywords for this?

Thank you all for any help

Your Welcome! You can work on verifying signature. The second one is a match in shape, but different signature, so please look into that.

    To answer your question.

This is not cased glass. Cased glass are different colors fused together.
You have a dark amethyst with a satin finish.

The body is amethyst, cased over with crystal, (first picture, crystal at the bottom) the leaves are crystal applied after the vase was formed, then when cool it was acid etched/frosted.

In the US of A, crystal is colorless glass. regardless of content. Elsewhere it may mean a high lead content.
