My blog started out as just random historical babblings and nothing more fascinating than that. All blogs have humble beginnings.

Oh thanks, CD! :) Glad you like it. I update it pretty regularly (every week/every two weeks), so there's always something fun, and new, to see!! (or old, rather!)

I do use my allotted Google blog spot, but only as a storage bin for pictures and info I don't want to lose if/when my hard drive dies.

I don't write anything informational or opinionated.

Wordpress offers free blog sites up to I think 2 Gb. I've used it extensively to post documents or text for other interested people to access when I give them a link, usually in some forum. I've also used it to post most of the "printed media" articles I've written, usually years after the print publication date. Maybe I'll come back with some links to those postings.

As G2 mentioned I'm on you-tube, as "cannonmn." Have over 300 videos there and get paid a little every month based on the advertising links on those videos.

Videos are a good way to tell a story when you really have to show people what you're talking about. The man shown is a warehouse helper, I'm almost always behind the camera.
