    The amount of refraction in some of the photos makes me wonder if this is crystal rather than plain glass.

    Based on one of the surnames in my family tree, I probably have forebears who had that as a sideline.

    Yes. Two pounds 10 ounces for a small bowl that is 3 inches high and 8 inches wide with a lot of the glass cut away. It makes lots of rainbows in the sunshine, so I agree it is crystal.
