    I can't seem to find this item or any information about this cup on the www. Any help would be appreciated. The bottom stamp is Made In Italy 4.561.P cup1.jpg cup2.jpg cup3.jpg cup4.jpg cup6.jpg

    The decoration on it is after an English horse brass, so maybe made as a souvenir to be sold in the UK.

    Maybe tinned over brass or copper, instead of silver-plate?

    No, just did a little scrape. Silver, I think. Like the inside of the cup

    Is it possible that the marks were intended to be read in groups? The 1.P at end of marks looks like it was applied a bit differently. If the cup holds one pint maybe that’s what “1.P” means.
