Yeah, not even close to Shaker on your chest of drawers & chair.
If you are interested in Shaker furniture, you should visit Willis Henry and look at his past Shaker auctions to get familiar with that furniture, it's very distinctive.
Probably 70-80% of all Shaker objects have been sold thru that auction house at one time or another, particularly if the example is better and up. Willis knows Shaker, he's an authority on the subject and if you look at his Shaker sales, you'll see why most folks that own that style of furniture go to him to sell or inquire about their objects.

Your chair BTW isn't cane, it looks like rush to me in photograph.
Here is a Shaker tilter side chair of mine with a cane seat, Canterbury NH, about 1830.
How do i know this? because when i bought it at a different auction house, i emailed Willis and he told me ALL about it. It had gone thru his sales floor 20 years before, very nice guy & knows his Shaker! plus he never forgets a piece he sells!

Your chest. Is it wood with lacquer? Is there any Mark's or labels. And what I see in your picture as yellow, is it gold?

Hi Mikey, its wood with lacquer and unfortunately no labels. The chest is black, lighting is bad, makes it look gold.

 

I was asking about the scene on the top of it.It looks like gold paint? If you could get a better pic of the top with the scene, and maybe the locks. It does look to have some age to it.

 

Chest looks Chinese to me.
