image.jpeg I recently inherited this piece of furniture. I have always loved it but I have no idea what its actual purpose is. I've tried to find something similar to this online but I have had no luck. Please help.

    Welcome!
That is almost certainly a bigamist marriage of different parts, mostly sewing machine drawers and....I like it!

May have been a phone stand.

I have been to the former location of Elysian Fields in Hoboken NJ a number of times. ;)

I know zero about furniture, but I immediately see 3 different parts there...as KoT said, a marriage of different parts.

The very top looks like part of a kitchen counter, the middle sewing machine drawers, and the bottom, a whatever.

I was recently in Hoboken a couple of weeks ago and loved it there. Didn't know there was an Elysian Fields there.

It is where Abner Doubleday started baseball!!!
The marker was recently moved to Washington Avenue because it became inaccessible and all but invisible.
There is a stack of clowndominiums on the site now. :clown::p

Yep, cobbled together from old parts as detailed above. Consequently, it a whatever you want to use it for piece.
