Hi all, picked this up today. Fell in love with the glaze , the was surprised to see the bottom . I see "Anna Van' the "Colo sprgs" . From what I could gather , this glaze was more 50s-60s ,but I couldnt find any signatures that matched . Its 7 1/4 inches tall,5 wide ,and Im calling it a fan vase ,unless Im wrong ! Any input is always appreciated .

I confess it took a few reads to get it , but I think it sunk in . So it IS a Van Briggle, circa 1950s ,made in the colo sprgs factory ?

It is Anna Van Briggle. They bought out another pottery at one point and produced these in that factory. Can't remember the name of that company offhand but some of the Anna Van wares resemble the other pottery more than they do some of the traditional Van Briggle. In particular, the glazes are nothing like what we usually associate with van Briggle.

It is Anna Van Briggle pottery. It was made when Van Briggle bought out Dryden Pottery and the glazes resemble Dryden more than they do the traditional Van Briggle glazes. Here is the story.....

Sorry for the double post. I wrote the first one from memory and thought I lost it while writing. I, then, decided to research this more before writing post #2. This is what I get for posting while taking Tylenol 3 after dental work. :wacky:
