Hi, I am having no luck finding anything out about this lidded bowl. It is about 8" in diameter and 4.25" tall. It looks like it has spent some time in the oven and it is marked either MS or SW on the bottom. It has an interesting swirl handle and swirls on the inside bottom and on the bottom of the lid. All help will be appreciated.

You can try looking at themarksproject.org - although I didn't find a similar mark on my quick search.

    Where are you at?

I looked under WS and SW and found nothing. I am in Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois along the Mississippi river.

Looks like MS to me. That being said I looked at the marks site and didn't find an MS that looks like this MS. Studio pottery can be hard to pin down. There's a helpful studio pottery group on Facebook if you're on there.
