Could any one please help me identify this porcelain figurine? I have checked over the figurine and I can't find a markers mark which surprises me as this is a quality piece.

    Hello and welcome.
Suspect your piece is German. Late 1800s.
    Wait for others to confirm.

    Thanks for the replying,

The figurine has 1854 and 26 impressed in the bottom and to the side has the number 39.

Other than that I can't find any markers marks or stamps which is so strange.

    Not really.
If it was made for export, it didn't need to have the country of origin put on it until 1891 when the McKinley act was passed. If it was made to stay in the country it was made in, it didn't need to be marked with country of origin.

Paper labels were used after WWII. Mostly by Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand and now China.

Japan would not have used those stamped numbers. However, Germany and Austria would have. Most English companies marked their items in some way, but not all.
