I found about 5-6 different size and different metal serving platters (smaller than the picture) today and they had this pattern. Some were marked, some not.
One said Early American but not the others. Is this well-known? (except to me?)
    Thanks

    Hi,
It is a common mark on carving trays. The juices flow down the tree and pools in the well at the bottom.

    Gravy..?
I thought gravy was served in a gravy boat....this is meant to catch and drain off the juices from a roast.....so it doesn't sit in a pool of wetness ...

I am a vegetarian, young widow, that does not cook or entertain.
I just like designs and metals and learning.
