Brass lotus shaped footed bowl - floral decoration - India? and when?

    One of the last things I picked up a few weeks back before we were all sent to our rooms with no supper.

    7 inches(17.7 cm) in diameter across the bowl. Just over 3 inches high. The top has a very nice floral/plant pattern which I think(!) is perhaps Indian? Any other thoughts as to where from? Doesn't strike me as super old - but - anyone want to hazard a guess as to when this was made? Thanks as always for having a look! I'm going to be pulling out some things I've had for a while but have been in boxes and posting them here and there since the thrift hunting has been put on hold!

    When were we doing the heavy importing from India? Came with little red stickers that said Made in India.
    1980s? or was it later? 2000?
    Can't remember, because I didn't tend to buy those items.

    Possibly India, but I don't really know. I like it, though. :)
