Clock, help with year, maker

    It can't be earlier than 1876 when Seth Thomas invented the wind up alarm clock. My best guess would be 1890-1930. The experts may need to see it with the back cover off to know better unless one of them recognizes it.

    If you can get the knobs off and unscrew the three screws you will quite often find the makers name or mark on the back plate. The winding rings unscrew in the opposite to the way they are wound and the knobs usually pull off.
