On second thoughts, it was a different model: Nr. 779 -and mine is Nr. 461.
    They looked alike really.

Unless it was sold to someone in Britain the sale price was $65 and $20 postage.

That is a question I doubt few will answer if at all.
Best I can tell through this thread is that there aren't any for sale anywhere to watch and none are on record as being sold.
    So it comes down to;
    It may truly be rare.
    So what?
    It may not.
What did you pay for it?
What would you be satisfied with?
    Example> paid 2 got 20. Good enough?

I'd auction it and let the market decide.

    Great point guys!

i actually didnt pay for it but i found it in my attic underneath fibre glass insulation which my dad was clearing out and replacing. its in great condition and i actually think that theres another boat with it that someone may have been completing at the time.

Auctioning is something that i will be considering -i hope it is a rare piece.

    thanks

I agree. Those who collect such things want them unassembled.
    I couldn't guess a value though.

I guess i'd have to just put it up for auction and see what the value is through that.

    That's how it's done.
Even if one sold for a lot...or anything at all...that may have been the only person on the planet interested.
