Hello, I'm Robert from central England. My interests are wide and varied, but William IV / Regency and Arts and Crafts are really my thing. Do have another thing for Wedgwood black basalt!

I love finding quirky and historic pieces on which I can do research. I greatly enjoy restoring items back to their former glory, (and I don't mean with a pot of paint. Shabby chic is vandalism by any other name!)

Gulp.............what a wonderful collection...............but it reminds me of a house sale when my grandmother broke up her NY town house, so I can only glance casually before I start getting maudlin!

Hi Af......normally I couldn't agree with you more.....but since this was Robert's collection, for some reason, Pinterest stayed at the bottom of the page and did NOT rise up to cover it!!!

Yes, it did this for me, too. Pinterest and other social media sites are now doing this frequently if one is not logged in. I do have a Pinterest account but created it with my work email while taking an online class. And don't remember the login.

Hello everyone. Gosh! sorry to cause such controversy. I pretty much hate Pinterest too. Gave in and joined and have actually found it quite useful. Why you have had problems viewing I have no idea, as that is a direct link. Apologies. For the record,I hate twitter, flickr, Facebook, instagram and I'm sure many more! lol

Most of my pieces have been found cheap, with a few exceptions.

I look forward to sharing new finds and helping others where I can, to enjoy this fascinating interest. RM
