    Technically speaking, "they" say you only have to be 50 y/o to be considered an 'antique', so MANY of us ARE Legitimate Antiques!!!! Hi, and WELCOME D Long!
    I think you'll find from our responses, we also manage to have fun here!!!! We're from ALL over!!!!

    I've always heard it was 100 years for an antique anything except 20 years for vehicles?

    In WA state a 'collector' vehicle has to be 30 years or older to get collector plates. I have two.

    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

    I have always know it to be 20 years for vintage 30 years for classic (or vice versa) and 100 years to be antique , and pretty much anything is collectible, if you want to collect it lol .

    I started downsizing my stuff well over a decade ago, when I was your age. This has been a very difficult but successful project. And,, I'm still working on it!
