    Everyone,

My wife and I found part of the Dixie Debutante set and we are looking for more pieces but we can't find them anywhere. Have any of you seen any of this set? If so, where can we find them?

The codes on the back of the pieces we have are:
    D 820-621
    H 820-310
    H 820-513

We also have the matching headboard in storage because my daughter is still in a toddler bed.

Please help us complete her set!

    - Jason

Not my pictures, but my daughter has these pieces. The nightstand is D820-621 and the tall dresser (I think it's the lingerie dresser) is H820-310.

These show up from time to time here in the Midwest but most sellers don't identify them as such. Most consumers don't know anything about Dixie. They will be listed as used French style pieces and finding them will be like finding a needle in a haystack. We get maybe 2-3 pieces per year through our 30 dealer store. You will probably need to look locally. I doubt you will find many on-line nationally, as shipping would exceed value.

Unfortunately, we cant look locally. We are stationed overseas in Japan right now with the Air Force (my wife is Active Duty). I guess we'll need to keep searching eBay and hope we can find them.

That was why I asked if they had been able to locate the above, general "french provincial" style, but not exactly the Dixie...because I do see those around fairly regularly.

You seem to have missed the point yet again.

The OP is looking for a SPECIFIC item. NOT something similar.

Could you leave me alone, please? The OP has questions and is asking for help.
I was merely asking for information from @verybrad about the rarity of the Dixie style, versus regular "french style" because I was curious to learn.

Dixie is not the style. It's the name of the manufacturer.

Not as long as you persist in posting links that don't match the item(s) being discussed.

You did not ask Brad a question. You asked the OP if he had located other items without the yellow flowers.
Brad had already pointed out the French style.

You posted it as a question: "Have you located such items as the one above, without the yellow flowers, but very similar in design?" which sounds like advice to do so.
To me the design is not very similar, btw, and Jason asked for pieces to complement the ones of a specific set he already has. That means exactly the same Dixie set.

If you want to ask Brad a question, it is best if you tag him. That way you will get a reply from him, and it doesn't sound like you are advising someone to look for something entirely different from what they are actually looking for.

Yes you tagged him, but only as an excuse to why you posted the wrong information. It was during your excuse that you posed a question to Brad.

No you didn't, this was your exact post, #6:

Have you located such items as the one above, without the yellow flowers, but very similar in design?

You only tagged Brad four posts later, in a reply to someone else.
My eyesight may not work with faded old texts, but it works fine for reading short posts.

I did not know at the time that the two of you were waiting for me to say or write something so you could point out an error or try to discredit me at the time.

In the beginning, it was a friendly exchange between Jason and Brad...and then I asked the question. After Cluttered commented...I felt it necessary to specify the intent of my query.
    Now, please STOP.

    Sorry, Jason :meh:

We weren't. There is no 'we', btw, there are two individuals.
It is not about discrediting you, it is about avoiding confusion for Jason and trying to help him complement his set.
In this thread Jason is more important than you are.

    Exactly....so leave me alone

Thank you for the additional information, sassafras.
