desperate_fun - hope you can help me w/ this Czech perfume bottle.

You are much better at this type of art glass perfume bottle, so I am hoping you can help with an ID. It came along with the lot of bottles I got yesterday. I actually thought they had the wrong stopper on the bottle when I looked at the photos & was quite shocked to see the mark on the bottom when I unwrapped it yesterday.

It is 5 5/8" to the top of the stopper & the white stripes are enameled.

I believe that is a Generic Stamp. Nailing down a maker could be tough. If I spot anything with a proper attribution and decor, I'll let you know.

This is not the kind of Czech bottle I collect. My taste are more to the c.1930 cut crystal variety. However, I think I will probably hold onto it for a while to see if I can get an ID.

 

It is a nice looking bottle. Do you have any Karl(or is it Karel) Palda perfumes?

 

I had to Google that name to make sure, but I do not have any like those shown. They are very Art Deco. The majority of my bottles look like these.

Those are great looking bottles. Some of them have such "over the top" stoppers.

I agree the Palda stuff is very Art Deco. I am tempted to add a piece or two to our collection.

 

This one is my tallest at just a hair under 9" tall.
