54F85D88-BE1D-49E8-9812-B24AAF94D154.jpeg Hello everyone! My friend brought over a box full of goodies (warning—there may be more posts!). These three guys look as though they are made by same company but no markers on bottom. The bull dog (Boston terroir) looks like he’s going number two! Does anyone have any info?? Greatly appreciated in advance.

Ah, that Massachusetts pinot grigio! People with something useful to say are going to want to see the undersides.

    Chalkware.
Japan would be a good possibility. Any marks on the bottom?
Pre WWII is my GUESS. Wait for other comments.

I've been thinking about this and think I have the time frame wrong.
Should be more late 1940s through the 1960s.
    Sorry for the wrong info.

Japan was making plaster dogs in the 1930s, but they had more of a deco look and coloring to them. These are more modern.
