Art Glass Dish - Controlled Bubble - DMC 96

Thick glass with controlled bubbles decoration and abstract color. Measures 1 5/8"h x 7" across, not perfectly round. Signed and dated DMC 96. Was found in Brooklyn, NY. No other info. Thanks,

Gosh, I say this a lot but here it is again: Looks like student work to me.

NY has some cool glass studios, perhaps you can call around to ask about the initials. Generally glass artists "know of" one another.

It is very beautiful, I love the style and particularly the colour. You are very lucky to own such a lovely piece.

 

No idea if this is the same maker, but here is some art glass signed DMC, in this case w/the number "75".
