Featured Are these Japanese frit beads?

(Hope I'm not flooding the board)

I came across these as well, are they Japanese frit beads? (They aren't a necklace are they? Just on a piece of string)

They have a rough feel on the outside, not sure how good my pics are, (GREAT CLOSE UP OF A SPAN HAIR HOWEVER, <3 I do apologise) like something's been thrown on them.
Individual beads are just under an inch I THINK

If I could have some words to look I would be very grateful xxx
( I don't really know what to look for)





Oh whilst I'm here, I found this too. It looks like amber with a stick in it...it has a HORRID setting. Is it possible it is amber?
( It's in such a nasty setting it's obviously not *nice* but I like it )

It's two inches across and about an inch deep.

...there IS a crack looking bit,but the bit I mean is for sure not a crack, it's above that It looks just like a teeny branch. One end of it is almost at the top of the surface and looks organic that end.
Not stone...it's warmish. More likely to be plastic but I don't think it's that either.

I'd call them spatter rather than frit.

 

Feels like amber but as always,never sure.

Yes, it is a gorgeous piece of amber. The crack is not a crack.

 

The amber looks like it might have a 'grasshopper?' in it......
