Small (pony) shot glasses - are these old?

There is so much to learn about glass. Picked this pair up today and don't really know where they might be from. They hold 1 ounce each. 3 dots (each side) and some type of grain/leaf pattern etched on the outside. About 1 1/2" high.

those look like bar ware from the 60's...

 

Could be earlier. That sapphire blue was very popular in the 30s.

 

To me they look like part of a decanter and shot glass set from one of the elegant glass maker in the post prohibition era into the 1960. Used for liquors.

 

My Gram had these, a set of 6 in assorted colors and very pretty. I believe she got them in the 1940s.

Can't help ID but I can tell you the design is cut, not etched. It is frosted because the cuts were left unpolished, it's called "gray cut".
