    There was a resurgence of these in small gift shops in the early 2000s. I don't know where yours was made, or what it is made of, some other folks may know.
    @kyratango may have some ideas?

    The little boxes that were available in gift shops were very attractive. I bought a sequined frog box that opened, it cost about 25 bucks back then. No idea what I did with it. Hope this helps you, Kard, and doesn't hurt! :joyful:
