Back again. The lotus earrings have the Cairo mark, imo. The bead earrings could be Indian, the other ones are probably Afghan, like I thought before. Make sure you get a nice price for the Afghan ones.:)

Cool thanks for the info Aj.

The Afghan ones look nice from the front but are quite roughly cut from the back, don't know if that's normal or not

I used to have dreams at night about my old engineering office all the time,

now I'm dreaming about treasure hunting, and wild findings

    It's a definite improvement :)

I have daydreams of finding a pools of light necklace in the junk bin of a thrift store ... especially now that the thrifts are still closed.... I'm glad to see somebody scored. I did find an open antique store today, but no Afghan earrings.

If you know, they're $$$$. If you don't, they could just be random glass ball necklaces.

People in the UK are always finding STUFF. Kyra and I want to migrate to the UK for the car boot sales and because most Continental sellers are too savvy for us to find STUFF here.:arghh:

Yeah that's the great thing about boot sales, 95% are people just getting rid of stuff that looks interesting enough to sell

And also they feel embarrassed about asking to much for something

You could find something really special for next to nothing

Not that I'm missing them or anything :)

American tag sales are similar, although the embarrassment is missing. I've seen some goofy prices. The fundraiser sale yesterday was a case in point - goofy prices. They had some 50 cent and dollar jewelry marked five bucks, for instance. I've been in enough withdrawal that I was almost tempted!
