Hollow horn fish

    An odd little fish shaped box, tapered at one end to a fishy tail, shaped at the other end in a fish mouth, slightly carved in the body and scratch engraved with fishy details.

    Any opinions on the origin? I have no idea and found it at a flea marked. The material appears to be horn.

    I've never seen any eskimo items anything like that. I'd be thinking Phillipines, Indonesia, far or middle east perhaps; rather than the Americas.
