Japanese art print FAITH

Bought this at a yard sale for $3 today. I usually steer clear of Oriental things, but I figured the frame was worth that. Framed between 2 pieces of glass. Thought I had seen the signature someplace before. Any help appreciated. I don't even know where to start looking for this.

 

Now I am thinking Chinese, since googling "Chinese art faith" I see the characters are the same as Chinese "Faith". Still cant find a copy of the artwork though.

 

Maybe try 'abstract' or 'modern' Japanese art ? I like this a lot. I see 'Ramio" ?

 

Thanks for the input Johnny. I'm wondering if the dark pencil scribble on the bottom left might be an artist signature. It looks like maybe an AN or AW

 

I know this can be very confusing. The symbol faith is written in Kanji. These were used both by the Chinese and the Japanese.

I think you should focus more on Japanese artists. And Johnny is right it, it does look more modern. The characters in the red seal mark also look written in Kanji.

search for the Kanji alphabet on google images and try to compare the symbols to yours
