    Welcome,

    Its Queen Anne style.

    30 years ago they fetched £150 -£250
Now I donate them to charity.

The last one I donated the charity sold it for £20

Here in the USA that would be called a desk, is it called a bureau elsewhere?

    They're called various things.

    Bureau,
    Drop-front desk,
    Slant-top desk.

I always called them bureaus or drop-front/slant-tops.

I always understood a 'secretary desk' to be one with an additional bookcase or cabinet stacked on top.

Are the feet claw and ball? Normally that motif does not indicate a Queen Anne style.

Very interesting, for me a bureau is a chest of drawers where I keep my clothes :)
