When I was a young child, my mother wore these quite a bit. I loved them. After a while she stopped wearing them. I never knew why. Now I do. Somehow they both got broken. They are marked WL14K on the earring screws.
Is there any way to repair them? smallDSCN2444.JPG

If the pieces still mate cleanly, can't think why a super glue type adhesive, sparingly applied, would not do the trick. I have glued stone successfully before.

    Thanks Deborah.
My mother was not the type to leave anything lying around or out of place. It seems extremely odd that they are both broken.

Bronwen and komo - I am not sure I'd dare do it. But it can be done?

Superglue - and then fine gold wirewrap to hold it.

Owned - I was wondering about about a strip down the back.

That's what I would do - some sort of superglue and protection. Lapis is a really soft stone.

Put the pieces together so they fit intimately, then apply one drop (or less if you can) to the crack. Squeeze together and count to 10.
    Fixed.
Do not try to apply superglue to the surfaces and THEN try to assemble - won't work.
Any excess glue can be carefully scraped away after the job has set up.

I'd suspect they were accidentally dropped by someone.

In my experience, it's the rare screw back earring that does not eventually fall off your ear. Although, how did both get broken? You wouldn't keep wearing the other after first broke.

Those earrings are gorgeous! Super glue really works, I've used it too.
The second one got broken in a wild scramble to try and catch the first one?

Those are so pretty. Agree superglue but I’d let my jeweler do it for me and have them converted to posted omegas or clips at the same time. If you don’t, they’ll just be dropped again. I wouldn’t worry about destroying value as value went down the tubes with the damage. Converted and repaired they’ll look terrific and be wearable.

Screwbacks are torturous for so many. If they’re not tight enough they drop and if they are screwed down they cut off circulation.

I’m sure they were invented by the same
    misogynist who invented stilettos.

Invented before they figured out piercing works better with a pointed tip.

I do have a jeweler I'm friendly with whose store shares a parking lot with my store. Maybe I'll bring it to him when we both open up again.

Make sure your jeweler knows how to use superglue as I described!
