    Hey there...
Hoping for some advice on these.
I did the hot pin test, no odor or burn.
The pic's with light, 2 smaller (7/8" both) are transparent with particles, larger (1.5" x 1.25") opaque.
My tester goes up 1 or 2 bars on larger stone, 3 or 4 on smaller ones.
I have been looking at the various possibilities...

    Thoughts?

I can't help you with your question Donna but I do wish to say that it's a very pretty piece of jewelery, ... Joy. :):):)

Neither IMO but can’t help beyond that.Didn’t know what turquenite is but looked it up and that’s not dyed howlite.

Agree that you don’t want to do the hot pin thing.

Turquoise is not translucent:) nor used faceted (from what I know:bucktooth:).
Etsy is filled with India or Asia suppliers of all kind of colors dyed quartz mounted in connectors or station chain jewelry, I think your pretty piece is that kind:)

Is this your hot pin test?
    It melted it?
    Plastic or resin.
    And now it is ruined.

    NO HOT PIN TEST!

I'm with the others, neither turquoise nor 'turquenite'. Are they cold to the touch?
The larger stone looks like plastic, as cluttered suggested. Sticking a hot pin in certain types of plastic can set them on fire.
The smaller ones could be glass.
I used to have a faceted turquoise pendant.:)

Respectfully turquoise can absolutely be faceted. I had a beautiful Dian Malouf faceted turquoise ring in the 90s.

Oops I’m late on this one!
