image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I paid about $5 for the both of these at a yard sale. First, the sterling Trifari fur clip, wow, their loss, my gain. It's a very lovely piece. Then this stunning Coro Prin Noi Insine 14 Martie gold toned pin, again, wow!!! I'm still trying to do research on the Romanian clip.

I had a Trifari sterling silver crown broch, ca.1940s. Unfortunately and unwisely, I sold it. Wish I had never done that. I like this fur clip better though.

I also sold a sterling/vermeil Crown Trifari pin and now wish I didn't, it was large and to me gorgeous:( :( Desperation calls for desperate measures. :arghh:

I deleted all my pics as I was sad after the sales. For the heck of it right now, I googled it....I found it. I KNOW it was mine as I searched for 3 years until I found only one other only with blue cabs. If I had the money I would buy it back in a heart beat.:arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:

Now I have to go see if this is the same ID that bought it ;)

I just read that the ones with an eagle I the middle, were made in 1927 after Queen Maria visited the USA. It may be costume jewelry but I find it rather cool. Coro made others but in the 40s and 50s. Glad mine was made in 1927.

The one I sold, I sold it for $25. It was missing some stones. The guy who bought it had a jewelry business in California. I'm sure he replaced the stones and sold it for well over $150. Any Trifari I come across, I try to hold on to. I prefer the sterling but will keep the toned ones if they are eye catching.

I have had some gorgeous Trifari sterling over the years but these two pieces were special.

My favorite Coro piece, the famous Carmen Miranda bracelet. Ms. Miranda wore two of these stacked together in a dance number in a A Date with Judy.

Calico, the flowered-stem pin in your Trifari photo #1 above is absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you. Trifari did a series of those types of enamel floral flowers. Some have been reissued but they have a different mark.

Although pertinent here, Bob, I think it should also be posted under the favourite quotes thread. ;)

Love the Trifari site, wow. Also, very nice garage sale find, Armando. I would have had $5 out so fast, it would have caught on fire!

Calico, great pieces, I esp. like the red floral enamel Trifari. Gorgeous. I remember that Coro bracelet from the other site, pretty amazing find.

Hey, speaking of Trifari, am I correct that they always signed their pieces?

Some Trifari just had the hang tags I read somewhere. I have some Trifari earrings and only one is signed? Of course those are the newer ones. I think that Felipi had ALL his pieces signed?

OK Lucille, I just found this so what I read a few years ago is incorrect. Still,I wonder why a pair of Trifari earrings has just one of the pair signed?

Also I have/had pieces with and without the crown above the T.

All Vintage Trifari Jewelry is Signed
There is no such thing as "unsigned vintage Trifari." I can't tell you how often I run across a listing that claims that the piece is an unsigned Trifari. Trifari signed virtually all of their pieces, and even ran ads letting people know that if a piece was not signed, it was not Trifari. There were lesser manufacturers who did copy some Trifari designs, but Trifari was pretty diligent about protecting their designs and patented most of them until the copyright law was modified in 1955 to allow jewelry designs to be copyrighted.
