I notice Pelosi is so old, once she got down there she couldn't get back up!

Yes, the tribal scarves were about submission ("I'm woke...teach me to be a better ally"), and also it was about not letting loose of the African-American vote, which the dems cynically court every 4 years.

It's not just about the dems. The mayor of Ft. Worth, TX, a republican I believe, couldn't wait to give in to the mob when they blocked a bridge. It's all about the fear of being called the "r-word," which is apparently greater in some places than the need for civic order.

I don't think that fear is big enough to give up the police.
It's got to be more than that.
Look how they got Flynn to say he was guilty so they wouldn't harm his son.

Facebook and Google have control of the kids, they have all kinds of info on everyone.
Did you see this? Read the comments, (there were a couple on pgs 3 and 4 that struck me).

I think all of this is a LOT bigger than people realize.

Sigh...I grow weary and will back out of here. I wish you all well and also wish everything didn't turn into a political debate.

You're in the stadium, but wrong section...

    The flag is a symbol.
I don't cotton to flag burning , or flag on table burning, as it congers up images of racist hatred, usually by folks NOT from the USA.
I recently heard that Nascar .... a strong American cultural symbol has asked folks to no longer display the Confederate Flag at any of their events.
I suspect that Terry does not like that idea.....& for my own reasons , neither do I.
I also do not think tearing down statues , is the right way to move forward, in a non divisive healing manner.

You can't get folks to like or respect you by attacking their beliefs, assaulting their history & eradicating their cultural symbols.

If we're all going to live together.....we have to understand and respect each other, now & in the future.......... but I fully understand that for many folks...that may be too much to ask !

I was taught to hate Nazi's....fear Muslim Arabs, and distrust Moroccan Jewish men.............so ya....I guess I'm a racist.
I was also taught to do unto others as I would have them do unto me.....& love my fellow man & woman.

    It's a constant reminder to be a better man....& it's a struggle !

Pretty calm here, guesses there is some protesting which is fine but rioting & looting is a big NO-NO around here.

I would be more than happy to take that table before someone burns it and display it next to my ill gotten by colonial types Native Filipino weaponry from my wifes native country. So my racially confused half filipino boy who looks like a little german kid minus the blue eyes can keep it safe from book burning, statue tearing down types ....
