Very heavy - weighs over 8 pounds. About 16 inches long 7 inches wide - Unsigned. Has some age on it based on the wear. Thoughts on origin? My only thought is perhaps Scandinavian? Thanks!

If it was mine I would start at Tiffin modern line. I do not know if that is right.

33320598923_91d6450eef_k.jpg Don't know if it helps with the ID but I just realized the handwritten small sticker on the back reads 65€ (euro).

Just when I thought I had the melted sand thing figured out, you go ahead and confuse me more......................from the (very, very) little I have gleaned from these glass discussions, I never would have gone in that direction..............but I see now, that my sense of direction has me going in all the WRONG directions..........I think I'll stick to tableware.........its easier...............;)

If it's euros, it's modern, anyhow. Czech sounds about right.

I figured it was probably resale price sticker at an antique or vintage shop or booth - not a new price sticker (It's a rather tiny sticker with a handwritten 65). The wear it has on the base would make me think it's probably mid-century time period. Euros came about in the mid 1990's I believe?

Yes, I think the same as you, 1970s time period. Looks like a nice piece of glass:) I'll have a look around tonight to see if I can find it or something similar.

Amazing the knowledge on some of these boards!

George makes a good point. The one in the link is signed. If you scroll through to photo #5, you can see that the "Val St. Lambert" full signature faintly.

Aaron, maybe compare where the signature is on the green one to see if there is any remnants of a signature on yours.

    Pretty!
