What are these?

    These were in a lot that I won. I think they are more modern but im not really certain what these are. Maybe a candle holder? They have a darker blue rim on the top. I thiught they might be Chinese. Any info would be appreciated thanks!

    Yes, the Japanese kanji characters are of different fish that are eaten as sushi or sashimi.
