    Hi,

Wondering if anyone can identify the maker of this dish. Marked France Hand Painted and initials may be GL. The gold flower (rose?) seems like it should be easy to identify but I've had no luck. IMG_6822.JPG IMG_6823.JPG IMG_6824.JPG

The hand painter/artist bought a white blank from [random] factory and decorated it. No idea who in either case.

Good eye! I did not notice that but now it's blatantly obvious. Thx.

It bears close resemblance to a mark I was looking at the other day that we could not ID and figured its likely fake. I can now see that on mine the initials are "G" and "L" although at the time I couldnt figure it out cause where the G and L overlap the mark is poorly made. i spent a lot of time looking, and my guess is its fake.

Wow @sunday silence - our pieces and the initials are very similar. Whoever GL is I do like his/her work. I think both are so pretty.

I found the mark for yours, Goumot Labesse, and put a link on your thread. It's a printed mark which I don't think has any relation to the OP's.

Just found another item with the exact same mark as yours. No other useful info. It's listed on Ebay under:
