Numbered Italian Pottery . . . Majolica?

    Greetings, all!

I have a platter that is numbered on the bottom with the words 'Italy' and either 'CAM' or 'CANI'. Someone told me that it is Majolica and that it's worth more than I thought it was, but it doesn't look like any pictures of Majolica that I've seen. Does anyone have any ideas about the numbering, what it means, whether or not it's Majolica, or how much it might be worth? Any information would be most appreciated!

Hello, GypsyK. I'm not one of the 'potties', but red clay, bright color glaze, fruit motif - looks like majolica to me.

Majolica, probably post WW2. There were copies made of older things as tourist pieces. Nothing wrong with that. I don't think massive value.
