Hi everyone. Please assist in dating and value if possible. Just got it today for 15 dollars. Still works. I initially thought the flowers were added in later but based on similar lamps I found they are original, which is what threw me in terms of date. The flowers look very 60s but the lamp itself looks older. IMG_2529.JPG IMG_2530.JPG

I have seen flowers like that on 20s-30s 'flower arrangement" lamps, I think.

Check the SEARS catalogs for those years. You'll be likely to find it.

This came out of someone's house; they probably had the floral print couch to match! I can see it hanging over some white tulip chairs with or without the lucite topped table. Bamboo print wallpaper on the walls.

I don't really remember the 60s, but my mom's friends had that floral couch!(LOL) No one had the light, but they did have the tulip chairs.

Your 60s sound more interesting than mine. I was busy learning to walk, talk, poop in a potty...(LOL) I was four when the Beatles broke up.

    Hi,
My first apartment in NYC had a brown matted wall to wall carpeting. I hired a company to clean the carpeting for me. When I returned at lunch time to my horror I found my apartment with a gleaming very bright orange shag carpeting. The next day the carpet was gone and a tile floor was installed two days later. I still have the shivers when I think I spent the first night in that apartment sleeping on the floor. two days later I hired the company to clean the carpeting.
