What is with this dresser ?

    First post here. Just got this and I am curious about a date on this. The drawers are held together with pegs rather than dovetail.

    Looks to be in decent condition too.....those two missing pulls can usually be replaced.......!

    3 missing pulls, but who is counting ;)

    Any idea where people might find replacement pulls?

    Also some pretty decent gouges in the front. I bought it for 20
    Bucks because I liked it as an entry way piece but it sure does show its age and abuses

    You can search online for antique replacement pulls. There are several places that sell reproductions of various styles. You might end up having to buy a set of eight if you can't find a close enough match. Or you could try searching eBay for genuine ones. Good luck.

    If you get a couple of close-up photos maybe someone could give you some pointers on how to make the bad spots less noticeable. @verybrad
