Old passport of british politician.

I have come across an old passport of a british politician, Lord Dynevor dated 1839 along with a bunch of letters (presumably written by the lord). Any idea where one could find information about this item and perhaps the value?

 

The value of the letters will depend on content. If they've historical references, that would add a great deal. Depending on where you are, I'd schlep to a decent auction house.

Thanks for the replies! It is indeed the 4th Baron Dynevor, George Rice-Trevor. Skimming through the letters they appear to be a mixture from different people and different eras. Some are addressing a grandmother and others are addressed to 'Lady Dynevor' and one specifically, dated 1874, appears to discuss the Dynevor estates after the death of George-Rice.

I'm finding these old letters quite fascinating! A bit of voyeurism into the lives of this family that lived 150+ years ago.
