    Evening all.

I've got the attached pieces of glass and was hoping for some help identifying what they are in terms of type, age, etc.

My initial thought was "because they're all pink, they're cranberry". But I've since learnt that only a couple of these might acwbe cranberry which is thr very faded looking g art deco pink.

The two Vases I think could be murano glass but there is no marking or anything to suggest this, just the weight, design and colour... Or so I thought anyway.

Any help is greatly appreciated as always.

They could all be described as cranberry in color. However, none are true antique cranberry glass.

    1. I would look at the West Virginia glass companies
    2. ?
    3. ? Not sure it is Murano.
    4. Can you show the bottom please.
    5. Looks like Fenton
    6. You might check Moser.
    7. Possibly European
    8. Need to see the pontil. Is it a perfect polished circle? The edge looks like vaseline.

The above numbered 6 is stylistically much like Baccarat produced. I would check the bottom for a mark. I think it is your oldest and best piece, although it is probably missing a stopper.

I think it is missing a glass. I think it is a tumble up.

You might be right about Baccarat.

If this is answered correctly, this might prove to be an expensive piece as well.

2 may be Dartington. 3 may be Japanese. The boxed is flashed cut to clear, Bohemian.

These are in the UK, aren't they? 5 an 8 look Stourbridge made, 4 looks Dartington again.

Yes all in the UK and in the Midlands. I will take some better photos today if I can and upload them.

I've also got a load of murano and mdina glass or what I think is but not all of it is marked....

If you are taking more pictures of the same pieces, please add those to this thread. Thanks.

If you start a new thread it should be with different pieces.
Starting a new thread about the same pieces as here, will only confuse matters. As patd8643 said. Add more pictures of the above items to this thread please.

I didn't realize you were in the UK.
This is part of #1. The one I thought might be West Virginia glass.
I didn't notice this before. Is the color coming off? If so, then the color is applied, so would not be W. VA glass. Would also most likely put the dating to 1960s or later.

OK so here we go with number 1 from the previously numbered list.

Others will follow... Just in the middle of lots of jobs

So the color is not in the glass. Looks flashed - hope I have the right term. I always get it mixed up with stained. Someone will correct me.

Anyways that would put in in the 1960s era. Maybe made by a reputable company, but I never consider flashed to be of high value.

    Here's number 2.

Stupid me didn't even notice the 'Dartington' mark on the base when I took the photos the first time around.
