INFO ON COOLEST FOLK ART/PRIMITIVE PAINTING EVER?

Yes, I had also seen that it was fashioned after that work. I would have thought that mine was actually older than that though, and so my question to the forum was is it possible to date my painting given the medium it was painted on, in addition to the cracking in the oil (paint)? I believe the original was painted in 1875. Can this one really be that much newer? How long was that type of board used?
No date or signature, but on the back (not sure if you can see it), it looked like someone wrote the name Phoebe a few times in pencil, and possibly the last name Brown one time.

Suspect Phoebe is your amateur painter. How the frame is constructed may hold more clues to age than the painting itself.
