    The asking prices on ebay are insane ! You see lamps like these in the thrifts all day long for $5-10 . Thats crazy ! Is there something I dont know about vintage lamps ???

    At least yours has its original shade. Agree re date. That burgundy color was a popular colorway in the immediate post-war years. As were Redouté-inspired florals.
