I was wondering if someone could help me identify this lamp? Couldn't find anything similar. Thank you for any info

Is is acid cut-back glass like Charder, La Verre Français or Muller freres? certainly looks 1920's to me but hard to tell if it is cameo glass from the pic

yeah it does come apart down low. I just twist the shade off and that's how you replace the bulb if need to. I couldn't find a on and off switch though.

Since you have to replace the wiring anyway, you could have an inline switch included.

@rink28 - It is a c.1926 DeVilbiss Perfume Light. The hardware would have been made by DeVilbiss & they would have bought the glass shade from another company. It could easily have been any of the glass manufacturers over in Bohemia.

This lamp is BL-11. You may be missing the small brass bowl that would have set on top of the glass shade & then covered by the brass cap you have. The perfume oil would have been placed in the bowl & when the light was turned on it would warm the oil allowing the fragrance to fill the room. It would have also functioned as a night light.

Look closely at the bottom of the brass bottom portion. They are sometimes marked there or it may have just had the paper label which is long gone.

You can list it as DeVilbiss even without the mark if you are planning on selling it because this lamp is well documented in both the original catalogs & is shown on page 183 of DeVilbiss Perfume Bottles and their glass company suppliers 1907 - 1968 by Mari DeGraf & Toby Mack.

If you don't want to bother selling it I am sure I could move some bottles around to make room for it in my cabinet. So what the hell, just throw it in a box & I'll take good care of it for you. ;):rolleyes: :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

This page shows one like yours in the second row,

    https://www.google.com/search?sourc...rAhWKTd8KHWb_CQQQsAR6BAgKEAE&biw=1920&bih=937

It looks like it is missing the bowl also.

This one sold for $295 back in 2016.

This one shows the original bowl. Yours would have been smaller around to fit the opening at the top of the shade.
