An estate sale I was at a week ago had several large stacks of these from the 50s/60s onwards. Are these ever worth considering? I think the conventional wisdom is no since they were printed in such massive numbers, but I haven't seen nearly as many in recent years compared to a decade ago. I'd think the ads would be the big draw in selling them.

Best thing to do is browse through eBay's Sold listings and see where interest lies. (From the quick glance I took, it does appear there is some interest.)

Not as popular as they once were. The ones that sell best are the ones that have maps in them, but still not for much. Although there are people who collect the maps, unless you got the Mags dirt cheap, it wouldn't be worth the time or effort to me.

Some eBay sellers seem to be doing well with lots.

I have ever NGS Mag from Jan 1960 to now that I subscribed to. Still enjoy reading it.
I am thinking of donating the huge lot to a local school or the local prison library.
