I agree you need sharper photographs, too blurred to read.

Looks a lot clearer, but the image has been flipped. The letters look backwards...

The watch is Swiss. Made for the Russian market C 1900 - 1910.
The bit about the Czar probaby means similar to British 'By appointment to his Majesty' and is basically advertising that they have sold other watches to the person referred to.

I would class it as a routine watch of the period and type, although a collector of Russian stuff may be willing to pay a premium for the Russian market connection.

    You don't show the inside
we don't know if it works
we don't know what market you're in
we haven't seen a Russian silver mark
no one has so far found past sales figures on eBay..or other on line sources..

How the heck are we supposed to know what it's worth ?
It's worth what someone will pay for it.....that's all......

& you better be ready to supply the details cuz no one is going to pay anything for it without knowing it's condition....;).. ..

Nearer $100 than anything else. Winding it up is the obvious first thing to try. The movement is almost certainly a 15 jewel lever of conventional form. I'd say nearer $50 without possible Russian interest.

AF is more than likely right. The vast majority of pocketwatches are not worth a great deal of money, simply because there are probably BILLIONS OF THEM out there.

Unless it's from a famous maker or has some sort of other BIG CONNECTION, it's not likely to be worth much. Even if it's silver. I know a guy at my local flea-market who has boxes - literally BOXES - of silver pocketwatches, and they sell for next-to-nothing, apiece.

That would be a "Nyet" (Нет). :)

When I look at the photo it appears to say АВОРА ЕГО ВЕЛИЧЕСТВА and the first word isn't a Russian word that I can find. АВРОРА is a word but doesn't make sense here.

Could the first letter of the first word be worn off? Maybe it is ФАВОРА ЕГО ВЕЛИЧЕСТВА, which would translate to something like "In the Favor of His Majesty." Not that it really matters for this discussion.
