Years ago I bought a console radio - went to pick it up, this guy had a collection of remote control units for radio's and tv's, 1930's to 1970's. he had over 1500 of them filling an entire room - some were cable mechanical units the size of a lunchbox, others signal type. He even had prototypes. It really was an impressive collection.

Ha Ha Ha! As I constantly have to brush my big blond fur male dog, I keep saying to myself, there has got to be something I can transform this fur into. Sure the old folks way back when, had uses for it. I know they used horse hair for a lot of things, why not...:p

I heard that before, does that mean I need a spinning wheel?

    Hi,
A woman in my church used to collect dog hair and spin it into yarn. She made wonderful knitted scarves and hats out of it. She was a "odd ball" to say the least.

There was a guy named Bill Jamieson in Toronto who collected everything from guillotines to shrunken heads. He had a TV show, but I can't find it online anywhere.
