Hello I was wondering if anyone had any information on this stein. Maybe who the man and woman are? Any other info will be greatly appreciated 20170813_102940-747x1328.jpg 20170813_103054-1328x747.jpg 20170813_103000-747x1328.jpg 20170813_103046-1328x747.jpg

The man is wearing the crown of Charlemagne and has the word REX, Latin for king, by his feet. His name could be on the other side.
The other text is in German, if you take a picture of the complete text, I can translate it.

And the VB under that would be Villeroy and Boch, I assume.

Are the marks impressed or stamped? The following is from figtree3's link. Couldn't find it in my mettlach book but that is all prior to 1994.
    Impressed "Abbey" Mark. 1882 - 1931.
c/w "Gegen Nachbildung Geschützt", dated 1891

You mean the link posted by FunkeysFinds, don't you? Just didn't want people to check my link and not find it!
