Irish brooch is slightly odd. Not sure if it's brass, it doesn't smell, but there's a teeny green near the clasp. Repro, of course, but an older one.

Ohh...that may be an eagle...but it's inside the design of an Orca's dorsal fin...



notice the extra sharp curve at the top of the fin !




and placing a bird or human figure inside the fin is a well know design structure.





And the fact that it's BOMA....right there means they can play around with a design......or call it what they want to...
Corrine may be popular .....but this pendant has more area that has not been worked......than that which has been worked & that doesn't come off well !

So, no..I don't see a beak.....just the back of a whale ...with a fin on it !

 

I have an orca fin shaped carving with a raven in it.

 

Raven is the Trickster....capable of shape shifting..... ( malificent ! ) , and is placed there to signify that the Orca can shift into a land animal...the Wolf !!!
