Clear Glass Plaque? Bookend? Paperweight? with King

    Not sure what this is supposed to be. Clear glass measuring 6 3/4" tall x 5" wide x 1" - 1 1/4" thick. Front has a pebbled (?) finish around the cutaway of a crowned man. Unmarked. Any ideas on who, what, and by whom?

    Ascot, I always get a Scandinavian vibe when I see thick, heavy art glass like this - someone like Höglund, Boda, Kosta Boda, Pukeberg, Skruf, or similar.

    A bit of searching on Google, however, hasn't turned up one like yours.

    Still haven't gotten an ID, but I'm still leaning toward Scandinavian and thinking the king may be a Viking. It was in a lot with 2 Pukeberg pieces.
